OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Some say it’s a ticket to health, while others still don’t trust the COVID-19 vaccine. They are often people who are minorities, immigrants, refugees, or earn low incomes. “I already had Covid before, but I went ahead and gave it a try just so I don’t get it again and it’s not as severe,” said Amber Frazier, Kay Jay Tower employee. Frazier still has doubts about the vaccine after she received her first dose Tuesday at her workplace. That’s why staff and students at Nebraska Methodist College are reaching out to invisible populations right at their doorstep.
