Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 products keep coming in, and the latest news arrives in form of Oginoya Co., Ltd.’s famous Toge no Kamameshi.
Oginoya Co., Ltd.’s clay pot rice has been around since 1885 and contains wholesome ingredients like bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, burdock root, chestnut, green peas, a boiled egg, and apricot. The Mashikoyaki pot for this release will see a similar color scheme as the EVA Unit-01 in purple and green with a special cover. Priced at ¥1,500 JPY (approximately $13.50 USD) the “Toge no Kamameshi Evangelion Unit 1 ver” is set to go on sale in Japan from June 5 – 18, or potentially sooner if all the bowls sell out.

The ordeal came to light on Twitter when the official
Evangelion page posted a note in English and Japanese for fans. It was there Studio Khara thanked fans for their support but warned others who were upset with the film. It turns out the studio has been received threats over a silly issue, and Studio Khara will not abide by it.
