The Press Booyah turn back Bombers in Michigan BATTLE CREEK, Mich. –The Green Bay Booyah picked up where they left off before the Northwoods League All-Star break. The Booyah defeated the Battle Creek Bombers Thursday, July 22, in Michigan, 12-4. Green Bay got on the board first in the opening frame when Max Wagner (Clemson) drove in Dalton Pearson (Georgia State) with a single to left field. The Bombers answered back with two unanswered runs to lead going 2-1 into the third. That’s when Pearson hit a single that scored Nadir Lewis (Princeton) to tie the game. After stealing both second and third, Pearson scored on a wild pitch during Wagner’s next at-bat for a 3-2 lead. ....
