Eight Community CSOs Empowered to Fight SGBV, Harmful Practices

The grant was provided to 8 civil society organizations in five counties including Montserrado, Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Lofa and Grand Gedeh Counties.
In continuation of efforts to fight sexual Gender-based violence, harmful traditional practices, and promote sexual reproductive health and rights, Medica-Liberia, a non-governmental organization, has provided grants to local civil society organizations to empower them in pursuit of the initiative.
The grant referred to as “Small grant” was provided to eight (8) civil society organizations in five counties including Montserrado, Grand Cape Mount, Nimba, Lofa and Grand Gedeh Counties.
According to Medica-Liberia, the grant is to strengthen the capacity of the eight (8) Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) by providing them with resources/support to coordinate, monitor, and report on SGBV and HP effectively, and SRHR issues at sub-national and community levels. ....
