Confessions: Kenyan women narrate being used and dumped by foreign men 1 month ago Some rogue foreigners have discovered this weakness in Kenyan women, and are now milking it for all its worth; using and dumping them with appalling impunity. Photo: Stock. Stories abound of Kenyan women whose hearts melt and knees become weak seconds after a man introduces himself to them as a foreigner, preferably a white man, a West African (especially a Nigerian or Ghanian) or a Congolese. Most Kenyan women accuse their male counterparts for not being romantic, caring and loving. And they take it as holy writ that foreign men are a better deal. She claimed that her heart was elsewhere, “maybe in Africa.” Pastor Jackson King’ori who officiated the now-annulled marriage ceremony confirmed that Eunice did not sign the marriage certificate, which was to be returned to the registrar for it to be official. But Eunice ran away with it hours after their wedding. ....
What 10 of your favourite stars are looking forward to in 2021 They all shared a similar theme - hope [Photo: Shutterstock] 2020 was a tumultuous year, characterised by disruption of ways of life i.e in business, education, work and lifestyle, following the outbreak of coronavirus. Actor and musician Aliwa says the year was relatively good despite the challenges. I believe everything happens for a reason. Challenges are not meant to destroy or harm us, but to prepare us for extraordinary service for the glory of God.” Sentiments echoed by multiple award-winning gospel singers, Daddy Owen and Eunice Njeri, who - without going into details, said they have every reason to be grateful for gains made in 2020. The word of God urges us to be grateful in every situation, said Njeri. As long as we live we need to guard our hearts above everything else, knowing this world is not our home, added Owen. ....
