The patent, U.S. Patent 10,894,990, was awarded January 19, 2021, for a High Throughput Method For Identification and Sequencing of Unknown Microbial and Eukaryotic Genomes from Complex Mixtures.
The patent protects the bacterial identification method, utilizing the novel 16S-ITS-23S amplicon, found in Shoreline Biome s flagship StrainID kits.
