story next week on local five news. jack a big public hearing for the bakken pipeline is now just a week away. the proposed pipeline would cut through the state and has been stirring up a lot of controversy. right now the hearing is scheduled for next week in boone, and the iowa utilities board is adding 210 speakers to the meeting. but some people aren t happy with how those speaking opportunities are being divided. local 5 s amanda krenz is here now with the latest. amanda/bam the iowa utilities board looked at several options for an organized way to hear public comment at the hearing. because there are a lot of people with opinions on the pipeline. they ended up going with a 50/50 split. half the people who speak next will will be in support of the pipeline, the other half will be opponents. the opposition to the bakken pipeline through iowa has been loud. the group iowa citizens for community improvement has held protests outside of the iowa utility board offices. ....
