All three district councils of the Wairarapa region have urged residents to cut back on water usage as the summer months bring drier conditions.
Carterton District Council (CDC) was the latest to warn of shortages after demand surpassed supply.
Last week, Masterton District Council urged local gardeners to cut back on watering, and its South Wairarapa counterpart asked residents of two towns to follow suit.
