Evolution of Covid-19 : 2,200 Active Cases During a press briefing on Friday February 19, 2021 the population was called to continue respecting barrier measures in curbing the virus. As of February 19, 2021 the overall epidemiological situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the country revealed that there are 33,749 confirmed cases, 31, 362 recoveries, 523 deaths, 2,200 active cases including 158 in Management Units and 38 under oxygen. This was made known by the Director of Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health, Dr Georges Alain Etoundi Mballa, at the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre during a press briefing on the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.Lire aussi : Interview: « Le sommeil a un rôle capital » ....
Evolution Of Covid-19 : Over 1,607 New Active Cases This was revealed recently during a twitter post from the Minister of Public Health. As of January 21, 2021 the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Cameroon showed a total of 28, 010 confirmed cases, 694 active cases, 107 in-patients including eight (08) under oxygen. The overall number of recoveries was 26,861, and 455 deaths. The analysis of the aforementioned statistics showed a recovery rate of 96 per cent and a death rate of one point six (1.6 per cent). These statistics were revealed by the Director of Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health, Dr Georges Alain Etoundi Mballa, on January 21, 2020 at the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre during the daily press briefing on the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
