Miami-Dade police officers will gather tonight at Tropical Park during the Police Officer Assistance Trust s annual Police Memorial.
Director Freddy Ramirez says it s an opportunity to, honor the men and women who ve given their lives, and honor the families that are left behind. The children that are left behind. They ve lost their moms and dads protecting their community.
Due to COVID concerns, the ceremony is not open to the public, but it will be streamed live at 7:30 p.m. Click here to watch.
Ramirez says to further pay tribute to these officers, American and Eternal Thin Blue Line flags have been placed at their final resting places.
