　　崇明线二期工程，再穿越长江口北港到达崇明岛，沿生态大道延伸，终点站在崇明岛的裕安站。线路在崇明岛上有陈家镇站、东滩站、裕安站。崇明线将成为上海地铁第一次以全地下形式两次穿越长江口的线路。
　　整个轨交崇明线虽只有8座站点，但走向非常合理，它在上海市中心的范围内有三站，在浦东外环外有一站，在长兴岛有一站，在崇明岛有三站。
　　整个线路涉及浦东新区和崇明区，经过许多工业区和商业区，不仅带动崇明区的经济发展，缓解崇明区交通压力，也能促进人员的流动性。
