Smyrna Receives $3.9--Million Infrastructure Grant

(NASHVILLE)  State Rep. Mike Sparks, R-Smyrna, and State Rep. Charlie Baum, R-Murfreesboro, announced that Smyrna will receive a $3.9 million grant to improve water infrastructure. 
The grant, administered by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC), is among 43 grants totaling $203.2 million from the state’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) fund.

UPDATE: $5.5 Million Grant to Replace 37,000 Feet of Water Lines in Rutherford County

UPDATE: Rutherford County – and specifically Consolidated Utility District (CUD) will receive just over $5.5 million from the state to replace more than 37,000 feet of water lines, improve current service to underserved communities, and provide service to local households lacking water.
