President's office requests €1 million for IT, human development report


The Office of the President is requesting an additional €865,031 from the Ministry of Finance to cover the costs of the Estonian Human Development Report and ICT development between 2022-2025.
Costs for ICT will rise by €251,650 in 2022, €160,233 in 2023, by €166,039 in 2024 and by €172,109 in 2025, the president s office has said.
The office needs to update its maintenance service, which also requires the creation of an information security manager, whose total salary for four years would be €242,650.
Various license fees will cost €24,000 and €80,000 will be set aside for administration.
Additionally, €25,000 will be used to test the citizen initiative portal rahvaalgatus.ee.
The president s office is also asking for a total of €115,000 for the publication of the Estonian Human Development Report in 2020/2023 so editors salaries can be increased. ....
