Are my taxes too high? am i going to be able to afford to send my second kid to college? i mean, it was never an esoteric, i can t stand somebody who ran for office two or four years ago. i m baffled that republicans think this will still work. i think it might work because in some ways they re desperate because they know that donald trump even if he s not on the ballot or campaigning in those states that he is what s on everyone s mind and that the president has been saying all sorts of things contradictory to what his supporters said he wanted. one thing i found baffling is this idea that the president was introducing people in his cabinet that would be war hawks. we know that the people that are in these countries the people in these states i should say are people who don t want their kids to be sent to different countries to fight wars. people who are not seeing their wages go up. they are people who want to see change and want to see someone do better for them. what we re seeing ....
Nonpartisan judgment. now, we don t like this we ought to change the constitution. the difference between the electors we have today and the electors hamilton was speaking of is that today the electors have taken a pledge. they ve pledged to vote for one candidate or another and i believe they have a moral obligation to live up to that pledge unless there s an overriding reason why they can t do that, for example, the presidential candidate doesn t live up to the qualifications of being president. so i think it s a very narrow discretion, but i do think constitutionally they have that discretion and we can t just wish it away without amending the constitution to take it away. i m going to ask you in a moment why you question whether the president-elect has the requisite qualifications, but let me just drill down i can t believe we re having this conversation, but i m thrilled we re having it. it seems a lit esoteric. let s drink down for a moment on that federalist paper where hami ....
We have to have a balancing act when it comes to respecting conscience and respecting religious conviction along with other issues of the common good. this bill is not the sort of radical move that some people are acting like. this bill why were all those people surrounding the governor and why was the governor doing the signing ceremony in private? what is the purpose of this, really? you say some jewish fellow that doesn t want to sing, you know, ave maria, if there is a guy. i think everybody wants to sing ave maria, it s a beautiful song. my question, are these the most esoteric, you passed a state law with the most esoteric purpose. you re saying it doesn t have a broad implication to people. can it be used let me ask you a case. suppose a hotel doesn t want to serve gay couples. again for religious reasons. this bill does not make anything legal or illegal that wasn t legal or illegal before the law was passed. but it would be a challenge ....
I don t want a politician to force someone who sing stand up for jesus because she s in a public marketplace. we have to have a balancing act when it comes to respecting conscience and respecting religious conviction along with other issues of f thethe common good. this bill is not the sort of radical move that some people are acting like. this bill why were all those people surrounding the governor and why was the governor doing the signing ceremony in private? what is the purpose of this really? you say some jewish fellow that doesn t want to sing you know aube maria, if there is a guy. i think everybody wants to sing that, it s a beautiful song. my question, are these the most esoteric, you passed a state law with the most esoteric purpose. you re saying it doesn t have a broad implication to people. can it be used let me ask you a case. suppose a hotel doesn t want to serve gay couples. again for religious reasons. this bill does not make anything legal or illegal ....
The issue of the government taking many of these illegal immigrants from texas and then shipping them to other communities that are not expecting, or prepared for them. but of course, the government doing this sort of back-ending the funds to the cities. i just heard the report from dominic talking about illinois and nebraska saying, wait a minute, we weren t prepared for this. what s your take on this? this is another example, the president of sort of losing control. it s one thing if it s affecting the four border states. you hear wherever there s an immigration crisis, california, arizona, new mexico and texas are in trouble. once the government starts exporting this problem to other states, like you mentioned nebraska and illinois, i read as far away as massachusetts, having these problems. then i think you really reach a political tipping point on this. where the debate sort of moves on beyond these sort of esoteric, are we a nation of ....
