at $211 a share, now it s 213 up again, those two companies amazon and microsoft have huge and growing cloud operations. that is a big part of their stock rally. now look at tesla, $142, yesterday closing $1600 a share and this morning it s up 11 bucks, 1654 but it is up again, are these tech stocks a bubble, is it like the dog, the late 90s, i ve never seen anything like this before. now look at the overall market, the dow jones industrial going up again, maybe 150-point of the opening bell, the s&p of 21 points, two thirds of 1%. look at the nasdaq, a half percentage point and more because a big tech again. the market is also getting help from the europeans who reached agreement on a near trillion dollar rescue plan that helps and they are still negotiating a plan for the united states as of right now. bottom line, big tech in the market going up again today. a different story in our cities there is a confrontation going on on one side local largely democrat mayors on the

investors are increasingly pinning their hopes to a virus recovery on the vaccine so moderna s news is helping the market this monday morning. and its own stock, of course. the dow industrials, probably going to go up a few points, maybe 70. s&p up about 12. the nasdaq, up 85 points. green this monday morning. next headline, gold. the price is now at an all-time high, closing in on $2,000 an ounce. a weak dollar plus the fear of a post-virus bout of inflation, plus the u.s./china escalation, all pushing the price to, what, $1956 per ounce as of right now. we re expecting the republicans to detail their trillion dollar stimulus plan perhaps today. $1200 checks, liability protection for business extended but reduced emergency unemployment bonuses. larry kudlow on that later on today s program right here. now, look at big tech. top executives from four of them virtually testify to congress later this week. this is important. what are we going to do with the crown jewels of
$3,200. tesla, watch this. founder elon musk now worth about $70 billion. richer than warren buffett. another surge for that stock right now premarket, up another $100 a share, 6%. wow. apple getting closer to a $2 trillion valuation. right now it s up nearly five bucks at $388. now, that s the big techs. we have a lot more quotes coming your way. suffice it to say, big tech is having another terrific day. how about disney? a partial reopening despite a surge in new virus cases in florida. masks, temperature checks, no lines. this was an important symbolic move to reopen disney world. investors like it. disney is back to $121. talking about investors here, they like the good news on vaccines. pfizer and biontech, they have been given fast track approval for two of their vaccine candidates. stock s got a new shot in the arm when that news broke earlier this morning. both stocks on the upside. what have we got for you? later in the show, larry kudlow, he will have more
