Host how does this 2019 impeachment inquiry, where the process is now, how does this align with what the constitution says the process should be . Guest the constitution does not say much about what the process should be. It has a couple of really important things. First, in article one, section two, it says that the house should have the sole power of impeachment. Then, in the part about the senate, it says the senate should have the sole power to try impeachments and that impeachment should be presided over by the chief justice.
