The council has warned residents must continue to obey Covid regulations amid fears the latest easing of rules, combined with improving weather, may tempt some to break the rules. Earlier this week the latest milestone on the roadmap out of lockdown kicked in, with gyms, hairdressers, non-essential shops and pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants welcoming back customers for the first time in months. On Monday, as shoppers flocked to the high streets, Epping Forest District Council officers and Essex Police officers worked together to ensure a safe and sociable reopening.
