I will take you to the area and show you a little bit about why this area is just so prone to a storm surge event. it is because of the fact that the coastline here goes on literally for miles and it is so shallow all the way out into the waters of the gulf of mexico. now, 8 to 12 feet near cedar key. hurricane hermine in 2016, that was category 1 and that brought six feet of storm surge to cedar key. now we are projecting a major hurricane, category 3 or higher, that could bring significant impacts to that area. tampa bay here, we have the official forecast of around 4 to 7 feet. the air force base there south of the city. we ve got the coastal areas, the coastal waterways. near clearwater, this is a prone region as well. these intercoastal waterways have potential of 4 to 7 feet as well. fourth north into the cedar key ....
