Significant criminal exposure here and we should see sentencing actually coming up in this case within the next few weeks here. so you know, the seditious conspiracy charge is a tougher charge to prove, but there s a lot else on a lot of charges that are following up. the problem, i think, for prosecutors, for enrique car tar owe, it s a little bit all or nothing because he wasn t another defendant using a stolen police shield, it s kind of an all or nothing scenario if the jury concludes that there s not enough evidence to suggest x. there is a lot of evidence that suggests that the proud boys were more worried about antifa and fighting with antifa in the lead up to this, and that s what a lot of the discussions were about. one of the defendants, joe bigs gave an interview that morning basically laying out what he thought was going to happen, and it was all about how they ....
So they will need to be sen sentenced. and that will be closely watched in this courthouse because until this case, much of what the justice department was doing was about people who were setting foot on the capitol grounds and going past the police line on january 6 into the capitol complex. enrique was not, he was not even in washington, d.c. on january 6. so the fact that the justice department was able to get a conviction of him today and to see what the judge in this case does at the sentencing later this summer will be a really significant thing. the other thing happening still is they are still making arrests. there are still 250 or so more people that the justice department is seeking to identify who were at the capitol that day. and that are wanted on various possible charges. including ones like assaulting police officers. and we ve talked about this now for years. ....
