Police search for suspects accused of stealing purse from 70-year-old woman in Northeast Philadelphia
Police say the suspects followed the 70-year-old woman and one of the suspects ripped her purse off her shoulder, which caused her to fall.
NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - Police are searching for two suspects accused of stealing a purse from a 70-year-old woman in the city’s Lawndale neighborhood.
It happened on the 6400 block of Oxford Avenue on May 5 as the woman was about to enter her apartment building.
Video captured one of the suspects snatching the purse from the woman.
Crash shuts down Route 11 in Cumberland County

All lanes of Route 11 in Enola were shut down Tuesday afternoon after a boat fell off the back of a trailer, causing a crash that injured multiple people, officials said.
Cumberland County dispatch said the multi-vehicle crash happened around 12:07 p.m. All lanes are closed as of 12:30 p.m. between Enola Street and Columbia Road, according to 511PA.
PennDOT spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler said a boat falling from a trailer caused the crash.
Dispatchers said ambulances are transporting victims from the scene, but it’s unclear how many people or the extent of their injuries.
