Wexford County Council spending thousands on unused office space as tender process delays energy efficiency project

Wexford County Council (WCC) has confirmed it is continuing to carry out works on an office space at Senan House, Enniscorthy Technology Park. The council has been renting a space in the Technology Park since it opened last year but has yet to utilise it.

Tree project continues as 2500 trees are planted in Enniscorthy

Enniscorthy Technology Park, was planted with 2500 native trees as part of ‘The 100 Million Trees Project’. The project which was launched in late 2022 in Co. Wexford is a national community-driven initiative developed by brothers, Richard and David Mulcahy. The project’s aim is to plant 100 million native Irish trees throughout the next decade to reverse the environmental damage caused by the reduction of forests worldwide.
