SUMMARY OF THE POSITION Evo logistics has immediate job openings for car drivers - Class A CDL. Duties include following the assigned route schedule safely and efficiently,operating a tractor/trailer, making local deliveries (up to a radius of 130 miles) and picking up from local sites (up to a radius of 130 miles) predominantly seafood and products to our warehouse distribution site and customer locations. You get the proper authorization for all deliveries/pickups. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, feed the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor. You must ensure accurate completion of the Department of Transportation (DOT) checklist and report maintenance issues and accidents in a timely manner. Assist with loading and unloading, if necessary. Our drivers return home every day.
