A while ago in this space we related the ordeal of Anthony Milisci, whose liver began to fail during his senior year at Greater Lowell Technical High School. And though his condition deteriorated, that all changed in April 2019, when the transplant of a donor’s liver gave him a new lease on life. Now a senior at UMass Lowell, he’s become a donor advocate, helping to inform people about the lifesaving opportunities of organ and tissue donation.
