Acton Garden Club to meet March 2

The Acton Garden Club’s monthly meeting will take place virtually at 9:30 a.m. March 2, followed by a program at 10:15 a.m., titled “Growing Iris, Daylilies and Hostas.”
Presenter Suzanne Mahler will offer a general overview and images of three diverse hardy plant groups that offer multiseasonal interest.
Mahler has been sharing her passion for gardening for more than 30 years and has spoken at the Boston, Rhode Island and New England spring flower shows; Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts; the Environmental Protection Agency; and garden clubs and organizations throughout the New England area. She is a past president of the New England Daylily Society, an overseer for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society and works part time at a local garden center.
