KUALA LUMPUR: A company executive was fined RM3,000, in default a month in jail, by the Magistrate's Court here on Tuesday (Oct 17) for submitting a forged degree certificate in Mechanical Engineering and academic transcripts to the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) two years ago.

Engineers plot to position selves in national development March 14, 2021 Peter Lokeris, the state minister for Works and Transport, launches the strategic plan Ugandan engineers under their registration body, Uganda Engineers Registration Board (ERB), have launched their five-year strategic plan aimed at positioning the profession at the centre of national development, writes ERNEST JJINGO. The plan was launched during the celebration of the World Engineering Day on March 4, under the theme: “Engineering for a healthy planet”. The day was proclaimed by UNESCO at its 40th general assembly in 2019 to present an opportunity for the world to celebrate the contribution of engineering to sustainable development.
