Victoria Oil & Gas, the Cameroon based gas and condensate producer and distributor, has provided a general corporate and operational update on key matters.
Highlights
The Company experienced a small number of positive Covid-19 cases in the Douala office over the last few weeks; the office was immediately sanitised and remains open only to those employees with a negative Covid-19 test. The staff affected were asymptomatic and have thankfully started to recover quickly and operations have not been affected. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region of Siberia in which our West Med asset is located remains locked down for now due to COVID-19. ....

Spain: Nordex Group receives order for 50 MW in Spain

eleven N155/4.X turbines. The turbines are projected for a
50 MW wind farm in the north of the country. The order also includes a Premium Service for the turbines for a long period.
Installation of the wind farm is to be completed in the course of this year. The Nordex Group will be installing the turbines on 120 meter high concrete towers, which the company is manufacturing in its concrete-tower factory in Motilla del Palancar in Castilla-La Mancha. The turbines will be manufactured in the Nordex Group’s plant in Vall D’Uxo, located 320 kms away. ....

Tlou Energy, an ASX, AIM and BSE listed company focused on generating cleaner power in Botswana and southern Africa using gas and solar power, has announced its intention to undertake an
equity placement of £2.6 million. The Placing will be conducted through an accelerated bookbuild process which will be launched immediately following this announcement with a price of 3.5 pence.
The Placing Shares are not being made available to the public. It is envisaged that the Bookbuild will be closed no later than 6.00 p.m. today, 16 March 2021. Details of the number of Placing Shares and the approximate gross proceeds of the Placing will be announced as soon as practicable after the closing of the Bookbuild. The Placing is not underwritten and Shore Capital is acting as sole bookrunner in connection with the Placing. ....

Dogger Bank A and B phases of the Dogger Bank wind farm have awarded UK-based
North Star Renewables contracts for delivering three service operation vessels (SOVs) for the operation of these phases. The total value of the contracts including options is estimated at about
GBP 270 million.
The three SOVs will incorporate the latest technology, including a hybrid battery solution and power-to-shore to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Technicians servicing the turbines will spend two weeks on board the high-tech vessels, more than 130 km off the North East coast of England, ensuring the wind farm phases are safely and efficiently maintained to provide optimum wind turbine availability. ....
