Let me list. One, in 2018, the Trump Administration instituted a smaller social cost of carbon of 1 to 7 compared to 50. Its based on two faulty assumptions. First, it uses inappropriately high discount rates that are not supported by economic theory or Financial Markets. Second, it fails to account for damages that occur outside the United States. This failure discourages other countries who in total produce about 90 of total co2 emissions from undertaking emissions cuts that would benefit u. S. Citizens. The United States special role in global democracy can produce demonstrable benefits for u. S. Citizens, and we are failing here. I stand before you today to discuss a issue that effects each and every resident of our community. The state of our Public Transit system. As our cities grow, so does the need for reliable efficient and sustainable transit network. Lets talk about accessible. Currently many areas are under served by Public Transit forcing to rely on personal vehicles. This not exacerbates transferic but also limits opportunity for those who cannot afford a car. Thank you for allowing us to come today. Hold on for two seconds. Just want to make sure that everybody is here. Come on in. Colleagues, today i would like to take this opportunity to recognize a school, a new preschool that is thriving. In february of 2008, when a group of parents, frustrated with the lack of quality preschools in San Francisco, open the school to provide a multi lingual, multicultural environment where people can freely develop their gifts and interests. 45 children from diverse cultural backgrounds attended the school and enjoy the program with an innovative mandarin immersion approach. By creating a loving environment, encouraging exploration, fostering curiosity, and fostering the Language Proficiency and cultural awareness, they are preparing students for success in the globalize world. Please join me in thanking the school for providing the city of San Francisco with nurturing the infinite capacity of young children. Thank you all for coming today. Thank you, su
