Two people suffer serious burns in gas explosion at new Gold Coast cafe
Two people who were setting up a new cafe on the Gold Coast suffered serious burns when the gas system exploded.
A 26-year-old man and 23-year-old woman are tonight in Royal Brisbane and Women s Hospital in serious but stable conditions with significant facial, limb and abdominal burns.
Officers from the police station across the road were the first one scene and rendered first aid.
