I told her I wish she named her something besides that, Foster said with a laugh. I didn t think that was a very good racehorse name, a winning name. I said, that s not going to be a good horse. She said, you just wait and see.

Anders Bluestone out of Stirling Charisma, was born May 1, 2017. Emmy Foster s 15th birthday was a day later. And in the ensuing time, the filly has rewarded Emmy s convictions, almost as if a gift. She heads to Thursday s $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund final for 3-year-old female trotters at Dover Downs with eight wins in 13 career starts and $128,224 in earnings.
