He added regional officials will meet on a potential transition that will happen if the Bangsamoro Basic Law is passed. "I want them to know that I started from a problematic regional government. Ayaw ko maranasan nila (Bangsamoro Transition Authority) ) ang naranasan ko noong nag-transition ako," Hataman, who was caretaker governor from 2011 to 2013, said. He was elected regional governor in 2013 and again in 2016.

PNP implements major revamp

SunStar April 05, 2021 THE Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday, April 5, 2021, implemented a major revamp due to the upcoming retirement of several senior officials from the service. PNP spokesperson Brigadier General Ildebrandi Usana said Major General Emmanuel Luis Licup, Directorate for Comptrollership (DC) head, was placed on a non-duty status and was transferred to the Office of the Chief PNP (OCPNP) ahead of his retirement on Friday, April 9. Licup, a member of the Philippine Military Class of 1987, served as the regional director of Police Regional Office-Mimaropa (Mindoro Oriental and Occidental, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) and Police Regional Office 9 before he was designated as head of the Directorate for Operations and eventually as DC chief.

21 senior PNP officials revamped

(MANILA BULLETIN) Maj. Gen. Emmanuel Luis Licup has been moved to the Office of the Chief PNP four days ahead of his mandatory retirement on April 9 from being the head of the Directorate for Comptrollership. Licup served as the regional director of Police Regional Office-MIMAROPA (Mindoro Oriental and Occidental Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) and Police Regional Office 9 before he was designated as head of the Directorate for Operations and eventually the head of the Directorate for Comptrollership. Licup,  a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1987,   will be replaced by Brig. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin, Jr. The post that would be vacated by Azurin as regional director of Police Regional Office 1, will be taken over by Brig. Gen. Randolph Balonglong.
