Let s put a different spin on our esteemed governor s decision to remove the mask mandate.
How about a little consideration for the doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians and the rest of the public health community who have worked tirelessly for the last year in constant contact with COVID-19 patients?
Removing the mask mandate at the state level, especially without consulting his own health advisers, smacks of the same lack of cognizance and confidence in science that we have witnessed the last four years at the federal level.
Now all we have to do is sit back and wait for the resurgence. What an insult obviously the decision is one of political expediency. It ranks right up there with the insistence of sending teachers back to the classroom without first prioritizing them for the vaccine.
