Benches have returned to the town centre of Devizes, after they were removed due to concerns over social distancing. Following discussions between the Town Council and local policing team, a decision has been made to returned the picnic benches to the Market Place - this time with picket fencing and astro turf. Gail Foster: It does look a bit like a crazy golf course but someone has put a bit of effort in to making it look nice for us when they didn t really have to and even if it s not to our taste we should maybe bear that in mind. ....
