people know what is on the way. the prime minister was on television saying this is his final warming, time is running out, if people are going to make preparations and move from where they are, so many islands are low lying, people have been evacuating this island. the highest point of land is own 30 feet high on the island of grand bahamas. people are being encouraged to go to hospitals and other shelters if they need to. the elderly are being encouraged to go to hospitals if they need any kind of care because the lights are going to go out for days if not longer and emergency rescue personnel are not going to be able to reach people to get them out of harm s way once this very powerful storm begins. so even though the people in florida might be getting something of a reprieve from the storm, in the bahamas, it is going to dramatically change the
