As the Pfizer vaccine is administered in Florida and the country awaits an almost certain approval of the Moderna vaccine, COVID-19 continues its surge through Northwest Florida with numbers not seen since July. 
The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County is reporting seven more verified deaths from COVID-19. Three of the victims were from long-term care facilities.
