Frederik Meijer Gardens Release Their 2021 Schedule Last year just about everything was cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus. That included many of the events at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture park. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year. With those hopes, they have released their schedule of events for 2021. For safety and health concerns, many of their regular events are either on hold or will be held virtually this year. The Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming exhibition will run from Monday, March 1st thorough Friday, April 30th. This exhibit features more than 60 different species of butterflies and moths in the Lena Meijer Tropical Conservatory. Approximately 800 chrysalides will be delivered weekly. These chrysalides and cocoons will be located in the observation station. They will transform into butterflies that will live in the conservatory. Throughout the exhibition, there will be special educational programming and the Lena Meijer ....
