Claire mccaskill, and msnbc contributor, mike barnicle is with us. let s talk about the important stuff first, claire mccaskill, your cardinals beat the mets last night, something that mika s daughter, emelia is not happy about at all. but looks like the cardinals are putting themselves in a position to possibly get a wild card spot and get into the playoffs? let s hope. this has been a rough year for cardinals fans. this has been really frustrating and last night was like a typical game where, you know, we were ahead, and then they tied it in the bottom of the 9th and we go to 11 innings, and almost gave it away again with a stupid throwing error by the pitcher in the bottom of the 11th. so i m hoping that we can keep this trend that our pitchers can quit walking people in late innings, and that we can do for yadi and adam wainwright what ....

“Shadows,” “Winnipeg,” and “Sheba” feature among 10 nominated in the running for a Eurimages Award at this year’s Cartoon Movie, one of Europe’s principal animated movies forums.
The Eurimages Co-production Development Award will be the only prize granted at 2021’s Cartoon Movie online edition, which will not feature traditional tributes nor a territory spotlight.

Generation as we in this country all try to fight and continue the civil rights fight. i want to bring in our athena jones. she s been there throughout. athena what a day. reporter: you said it poppy. this is a momentous occasion. it s a huge anniversary. and you know this is a big one. 50. of course they celebrate every year mark every five years, ten years, but 50 is a really big year and this may be the last big anniversary where so many of the people who did march on that day so long ago are still alive and able to cross that bridge with the president and the next president. congressman john lewis at the time was only 25. emelia who is now over 100 years old, is being pushed in her wheelchair across that bridge and of course you mentioned the president and his daughters. he has made a point of saying it s no accident that he wanted malia and sasha to be here ....
