TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WSFA) - The Tuskegee Police Department has made a third arrest in to the February drive-by shooting that killed 4-year-old Davion Tarver at an area apartment complex.
On Thursday, the U.S. Marshals Task Force took 18-year-old Tremont Jerido Jr. into custody in Phenix City. Jeridoâs arrest follows those of Tremont Jerido Jr. is charged with capital murder in the death of Davion Tarver . (Source: Tuskegee Police Department)

Tuskegee police say they have arrested a third suspect in connection to a shooting that left a four-year-old boy dead.
The suspect, 18-year-old Tremont Jerido, Jr., was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Task Force Thursday. Jerido, Jr., was located in the 1900 block of Lee Road 197 in Phenix City.
The shooting happened on February 13 in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive.
Police say 4-year-old Davion Tarver was shot in an apparent drive-by shooting. Tarver was eventually taken to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham where he later died.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Tuskegee police say a second suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that left a 4-year-old boy dead.
Police said Emanuel Howard Jr., 18, of Tuskegee, has been charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and attempted murder.
Investigators said the shooting happened on Feb. 13 around 5 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive. The victim, 4-year-old Davion Tarver, died.

Tuskegee police have arrested a second suspect for a Feb. 13 shooting that killed a 4-year-old.
Emanuel Howard Jr., 18, was taken into custody on Friday, charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and attempted murder. Another suspect, 18-year-old Joshua Washington, recently had his initial charges upgraded to capital murder for the same incident.
Davion Tarver died after the Saturday shooting occurred two weeks ago in the 500 block of Pleasant Springs Drive.
