On Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, Daniel Siniawa, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at age 88.
Daniel was born on March 13, 1932, in Justus, Pa., to Peter and Hazel Siniawa. He was a graduate of Scott High School, class of 1950. Daniel was formerly married to Barbara (Middleton) Siniawa. They raised four daughters, Kathy Troiani, Barbara Zinsky, Pamela Davis, and Brenda Makala, and two sons, Dale Siniawa and Daniel P. Siniawa.
Daniel was presently married to Diane (Keeler) Siniawa. He enjoyed two stepdaughters, Amy Niewinskiand and Heidi Thomas Keller, and stepson, Master Sgt. Paul Thomas.
From a young age, Daniel had an entrepreneurial spirit, with roots in his demolition, excavating, and paving business established in 1952, and soon becoming a visionary leader in commercial real estate development in Northeast Pennsylvania. Daniel is perhaps best known for the development of the sprawling retail and commercial hub along Route 6 in Dickson City. ....
