Heidi Anderson of Brookfield filed the complaint April 14 in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
The new suit was filed after we discovered that the Elmbrook School District does not actually have a mask policy in force following the end of the Governor s public health emergency declarations, but is basically pretending that they do and threatening to use it to remove Mrs. Anderson and others from district sites, said Anderson s attorney, Brady Henderson of Cream City Law, in an email to West Now.
The complaint asks the court to declare the district s mask mandate null and void, or otherwise not applicable due to the absence of its plain preconditions for application and enforcement. ....
