The history of trenton, new jersey. Long history. S a for the united states, it is very old. It was founded in 1679. An important part in the American Revolution, then a long part in the industrial revolution. There are a lot of great thats what makes trenton special. It was a mix of old and new is what makes cities great. Thee took a driving tour of city with architect and Trenton Historical Society member john hatch. We are just going to head up to the corner then you will make a left. These barracks were built for the french and indian war, the building was built in 1758.
