By JOHN D ONOFRIO [email protected] Dec 16, 2020 Dec 16, 2020 A request to spend more than $150,000 on an engineering consulting firm that will aid the city in updating its 22-year-old comprehensive plan and zoning code was narrowly approved by a split vote of the Lockport Common Council on Wednesday. Voting in favor of hiring Barton & Loguidice of Watertown at a cost of $156,296 were aldermen Mark Devine, Debra Allport and Ellen Schratz. Voting against the move were aldermen Rick Abbott, Luke Kantor and Joe Oates. Mayor Michelle Roman broke the 3-3 tie by approving the resolution. ....
