Laura Knoy s last broadcast on NHPR s The Exchange will be held June 10. The show will end its 25-plus-year run at the end of the month.
CONCORD, NH When the long-time host of The Exchange Laura Knoy announced she would be leaving the station in June after more than 25 years of broadcasting in New Hampshire, the news did not make much of a clamor.
Knoy, whose last show is Thursday, has accomplished a lot in what everyone would consider to be a stellar broadcasting career being named broadcaster of the year, winning a slew of broadcasting awards, and interviewing hundreds of people, from presidential candidates, to state officials, to CEOs, authors, and normal folks, too, in a respectful and thoughtful manner. N.H. Activists See Hypocrisy In Police Response To Capitol Insurrection Vs. Racial Justice Protests

Racial justice activists in New Hampshire say the police response to Wednesday s insurrection by a pro-Trump mob at the U.S. Capitol was a stark contrast to their own experience with law enforcement at protests.
They said they saw more police presence at New Hampshire s peaceful protests this past summer in response to police killings of Black people.
In several cases last year, local law enforcement was seen protecting protesters from Trump supporters who had come to counter-protest. 
But Black Lives Matter Seacoast organizer Julian Maduro said there were violent shows of force against racial justice activists at a protest she attended in late May, in Portland, Maine. And at similar protests around the country, videos show police partially blinding several people with rubber bullets. ....
