Bistro By Hill Culinary is a new eatery in the Elkton Commercial Plaza offering upscale food to eat in or take out.

Zack Trabbold is the new operating partner and brings to the table years of experience creating dishes pleasing to the eye and the palate. He won an award from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for his local catfish recipe and another from Restaurant Association of Maryland, which qualifies him for the Food World Championship in November in Austin, Texas.
âI was nominated for Best Chef in Maryland two years ago,â he added.

Stackerâs Gourmet Deli has become a favorite spot to grab a sandwich and go.
âItâs been great, even with COVID,â said
Karen Dixon who, with her husband Matt, opened Stackerâs at
33 South Main St. in November. âWe only do take out.â
While the term âdeliâ invokes thoughts of Reubens, and Italian subs, Dixon said Stackerâs is becoming better known for something else on its extensive menu.
âOur most popular item is our crab cake egg rolls,â she said, adding thereâs also a buffalo chicken and cheesesteak egg roll option. Thereâs a drool-worthy selection of subs, grinders, hot and cold sandwiches, platters and gourmet salads. You can also purchase lunch meat by the pound for your sandwich-making at home.
