bullet hitting him. wilson s car was then crashed into the wall. he was air lifted to a hospital in allentown where he died last night. his family and wife were by his bedside when he passed. his younger brother stefan said i often told him i want to grow up half of the man he is as that will make me a pretty good person. justin s elite ability to drive a race car was matched by his unwavering kindness, character and humility which made him one of the most respected members. it raises questions about the safety of open cockpits. dan wheldon was killed when his head straubing a post after his car went airborne. and in 2009 another died during an f 2 race after being struck on the head by the wheel of another car. in the wake of wilson s death indy car driver tweeted this, why do we do this?
