Brad Johnson takes up challenge of running from Ottawa to Pembroke in support of youth and in memory of sister Krista

Brad Johnson and his sister, the late Krista Johnson, at the Ottawa Marathon in 2010. Krista was an active member of the local community and an advocate of healthy living. Her life was tragically cut short in 2012 when she was struck by a car while cycling in Ottawa. The annual Krista Johnson Memorial Run for Change, named in her honour, raises funds to support the Elevate Youth Wellness Centre in downtown Pembroke. The run has had to be suspended again in 2021 because of the pandemic. To help support Elevate, Brad Johnson will be running from Pembroke to Ottawa in June. Donate at kjrun.ca. Submitted photo ....
