Ed was born sometime in 2016 when artist and writer Kyle Simmers was in their third year at the Alberta University of the Arts. A character dealing with the onset of dementia in a small Canadian town, Ed became the centre of what Simmers describes as a “little comic” they created to help get through some dark times. ....
