Punch Newspapers Sections Daud Olatunji, Abeokuta AHEAD of the forthcoming Local Government Council elections, the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has sent a list of five nominees to be considered for appointment into the State Independent Electoral Commission. Those on the list are: Babatunde Osibodu (Chairman-designate), Olatunji Akoni, Tajudeen Omoloja, Ayodele Bankole and Mrs. Gbemi Onasanya as members -designate. Speaker of the State Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, read the governor’s letter dated February 19, 2021 during plenary, at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Tuesday. The letter read in part, “In furtherance of our desire to improve the quality-of-service delivery to the good people of Ogun State, Mr. Speaker, please find attached the list and curriculum vitae of nominees for the post of Chairman and members of the State Independent Electoral Service Commission for your consideration.” ....
