Nigeria State Police has arrested Saidat Kazeem and Fatimo Onakoya for allegedly conspiring with other family members to detain their father, Surajudeen Jaji, in a room for 12 months at his residence.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed Saidat and Fatimoâs arrest on Wednesday after policemen attached to the Ejigbo Division accompanied by a member of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Abdulganiyu Salaudeen, stormed Jajiâs house on Tuesday to rescue him from the room where he was being held in captivity.
Adejobi stated that Saidat and Fatimo would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, for discreet investigation, while efforts were being made to apprehend their accomplices.

Four teenagers gang-rape 15-year-old girl on errands for mum

Police in Lagos have arrested four teenage boys in the Ejigbo area of the state for allegedly defiling a 15-year-old girl sent on an errand by her mother.
The suspects, one Kamoru, Basit, Sunday and Ifeoluwa, all aged 16 and armed, reportedly waylaid the victim around 10pm on Tuesday.
They were said to have taken her to an apartment on Obe Street, Ejigbo and took turns to forcefully have sex with her.
The police spokesperson in the state, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Friday said the suspects were rounded up by operatives of the Ejigbo Police Division after the incident was reported.
