The good news is it s officially back for a second series, after Amazon renewed the show in late 2020. Here s what we know about the follow up so far:
When was The Wilds season 2 announced?
The news was shared via Instagram on 19th December, with various cast members appearing in a video that teases: Should we tell them? I don t know if they re ready. Haven t you heard the news? I think we should tell them. You sure? Together? Ok. Three, two one.. We re headed back for Season Two.

The Wilds didn t exactly have an easy run, but it looks like the actors enjoyed a much more positive experience IRL. Mia Healey (Shelby), Reign Edwards (Rachel), Shannon Berry (Dot), Jenna Clause (Martha), Helena Howard (Nora), Sophia Taylor Ali (Fatin), and Sarah Pidgeon (Leah) spent plenty of time filming together in New Zealand, and the photos they shared show just how close their bond became.
Although their characters might have serious drama to sort out, the cast were still able to have fun off screen. We can t wait to see more of them in season two, but while we wait, take a peek at a few of their best behind-the-scenes photos below.
