Well, this morning that nasty mix of rain and snow that made for a miserable thanksgiving getaway in the northeast has just about wrapped up, but yesterdays monster storm certainly left its mark. Hundreds of flights were canceled and driving was treacherous on one of the busiest travel days of the year. Don champion reports. Reporter by last night the storm hit new england with an icy mix of wet snow heavy enough to down trees and power lines, forcing some folks to rethink their holiday plans. Plans changed with the weather. I usually travel down to mass but staying home this year. Reporter from virginia to pennsylvania and new york, roads were a mess.
